From Lab to Home: Suncare Uses Tech to Bring Peace of Mind to Daily Maternal & Infant Care

Deeply rooted in the maternal and infant industry for years, Suncare understands new parents’ anxieties, babies’ growth needs, and every family’s expectation for quality maternal and infant products. We have now joined hands with the excellent team led by Professor Liu Jieqing from Huaqiao University School of Medicine to set up a joint laboratory. Through this collaboration, we will use the team’s biomedical research to empower product iteration, making our products better fit families’ needs in details and delivering higher-quality maternal and infant products to global families.

I. Join hands with a global leading biomedical team for fuller care

Professor Liu Jieqing is an outstanding figure in biomedical technology. Boasting a PhD in Science and Genetics and a master’s in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, he has a diverse and solid academic background that equips him with a strong professional perspective. As the team leader, he guides the team in R&D of Traditional Chinese Medicine, synthetic chemistry, target mechanisms and natural drugs — a focus that matches Suncare’s pursuit of excellence in maternal & infant product tech. Having accompanied countless families for over a decade, we always prioritize product quality. Now working together, the team’s research boosts our R&D, and we use our industry experience to turn these findings into accessible maternal & infant products on shelves and in drawers, safeguarding babies’ healthy growth.

II. Three key cooperative research areas

Our joint lab focuses on core pain points in the maternal & infant sector, addressing industry tech challenges through 3 key research directions:

Neonatal Skin Microbiome Research: Optimize the safety and efficacy of maternal & infant skincare products via genetic testing and biomedical technology, ensuring gentler care for babies’ delicate skin.

Safe Material Innovation: Develop more eco-friendly, low-allergen materials for infant products based on biodegradability analysis – protecting babies’ health while practicing environmental sustainability.

Intelligent Care Solutions: Integrate big data and AI to create personalized maternal & infant health management solutions, offering more accurate and convenient care support for parents.

These directions precisely target key pain points in product R&D, breaking existing industry tech bottlenecks. More importantly, they back our quality commitment with medical-grade technology, injecting core impetus into product upgrades. This truly translates the “Premium Made-in-China Maternal & Infant Products” strategy into every safer, more caring product we develop.

III. Define Safety with Science, Safeguard Growth with Innovation

To Suncare, every research outcome from the lab is incredibly precious, and we will integrate 100% of them into product iteration — this is a profound practice of our corporate mission “Define Safety with Science, Safeguard Growth with Innovation,” and a reaffirmation of our original aspiration “Born for Baby.” We will ensure every new-generation Suncare product strictly passes medical-grade testing standards and must achieve “zero irritation and zero risk” — after all, babies’ skin is so delicate that no carelessness is allowed. Over the next three years, we will also launch a series of innovative products covering the full cycle from pregnancy to infancy, which will be more in line with the diverse needs of babies and mothers at each stage — bringing higher-quality maternal and infant care experiences to families around the world.
